Add Carrier and No Comp Plan Name
A carrier is required when importing your policies, but a comp plan is not. You can add a comp plan to your policies after they have been imported using the Bulk Change – Comp Plans method. This method is more time-consuming than ther other two methods and has a greater risk of error. It is not recommended that you import your policies without first creating a comp plan and adding a name to the import template.
Add Data to the Template
- Enter a Carrier name.
- Leave the Comp Plan Name column fields empty.

Import Your Policies
- Go to the Main Menu.
- Click Policies.
- Click the policy import icon.

- Browse for a file or drag and drop a file into the box.
- Click IMPORT.
- A message will show when comp plans are missing to calculate commissions.

- Click IMPORT NOW.
Add your Comp Plans
- Go to the Main Menu.
- Click Comp Plans.
- Click ADD COMP PLAN.
- Enter a name for the plan.
- Select the Type. They type of comp plan represents the type of commission paid on the policy.
- Select a Carrier. One or more carriers can be linked to the plan.
- Complete the other fields based on the comp plan Type selected.
- Click SAVE.
Bulk Change
- Go to the Main Menu.
- Click Comp Plans.
- Click the Bulk Change icon
. - Select a Carrier and Comp Plan Type to locate the policies you want to change.
- Click NEXT.
- Policies with the carrier and comp plan type will appear below.
- Use the Filter row to narrow your search.
- Click the box next to policies you want to change.
- Click NEXT.
- Select a new comp plan.
- Click BULK CHANGE COMP PLAN.
- Click CONTINUE to confirm your choice.
