Medicare Comp Plans - CMS Pre-Defined Templates

Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans pay a fee that is determined annually by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).  A CMS Pre-Defined Template is a quick way to create a comp plan for any type of Medicare advantage or prescription drug plan. If a fair market value renewal is selected, the comp plan will automatically update the renewal amount each year, based on the new schedule provided by CMS.


Add

  1. Go to the Main Menu.
  2. Click Comp Plans.
  3. Click ADD Comp Plan.

  1. Click USE CMS PRE-DEFINED TEMPLATE  

  1. Product – select Medicare Advantage or Prescription Drug Plan.
  2. Location – select National Rate, (PA, CT, DC) or (CA, NJ).
  3. Carriers - select the carriers for the plan.
  4. Plan Year – select the plan years for the plan.
  5. Renewal Type - select Fair Market Value or Level.  Fair Market Value renewals increase each year based on the CMS schedule.  If this option is selected, AgencyComp will automatically increase the renewal each year based on the new CMS maximum allowable amount.

Edit

  1. Go to the Main Menu.
  2. Click Comp Plans.
  3. Click the comp plan name.

Duplicate

  1. Go to the Main Menu.
  2. Click Comp Plans.
  3. Click the box next to a comp plan. Only one comp plan at a time can be duplicated. 
  4. Click the duplicate icon .
  5. Make changes.  Only the Carriers can be edited.
  6. Click SAVE.

Delete

  1. Go to the Main Menu.
  2. Click Comp Plans.
  3. Click the box next to the comp plans to delete.  
  4. Click the delete icon .
  5. Click CONTINUE.
