Onboarding Service
We offer a single, structured onboarding service designed to get your data into AgencyComp accurately and efficiently.
As part of onboarding, you’ll complete an Excel mapping form (bottom of page) that identifies which columns in your commission statements contain the data required for import (policy number, client name, agent, dates, product, carrier, and related fields). We use this map to:
- Create the carrier map used to import current and future commission statements
- Import policies and commissions into AgencyComp with accurate matching and reporting
Mapping as many fields as possible is strongly recommended. Mapped fields improve commission matching, reporting accuracy, and allow new policies to be created automatically when a commission does not yet have a matching policy.
Comp Plans
Comp plans are handled separately from the commission statement map.
If you would like us to create your comp plans, you must complete a Comp Plan Setup Form that explains how you are paid by each carrier (commission type, schedules, percentages, fees, etc.). This form is required for comp plan creation.
If the Comp Plan Setup Form is not provided, we will assign temporary default comp plans during onboarding. These plans allow policies and commissions to be imported immediately and can be updated later using the Bulk Change Comp Plan tool.
Pricing
Onboarding is billed at $30 per hour with a 4-hour minimum. In most cases, we can onboard 10–14 carriers within the minimum charge, depending on statement complexity and data consistency.
Once a carrier map is created, it can be reused for future statements from the same carrier.
