Add a Policy Increase to a Import Template

A Policy Increase can be added to the policy import template.  Policy Increases can only be added policies that use a Pct of Premium or Target Premium comp plan.  An example of a policy increase is an automatic increase in benefit to an individual disability policy.  A new commission is paid on the increase in premium.  Add the Policy Increase to the template only if the it pays a separate commission on the same statement as the base policy.  A Policy Increase can also be added manually after the policy is imported.

Add a Policy Increase to a Policy Import Template

1. Download a template.  Only a Pct of Premium and Target Premium template will allow for a policy increase.
   
2. Add the base policy information to the Step 3 Base Policy tab.
   
3. Add the policy increase information to the Step 6 Policy Increases tab.  The policy increase information will not import without the base policy.
