Add Comp Plan and Carrier with Schedule Before Import

The advantage to adding your carriers and comp plans to your database before importing your policies is accuracy.  Once added, the carrier and comp plan names can be added to your policy import template.  When the policies are imported, they will be linked to the carriers and comp plans automatically. This is the preferred method for importing your policies.

Add Carriers

  1. Go to the Main Menu.
  2. Click Carriers – Products – Revenue Types.
  3. Click ADD CARRIER.
  4. Enter the name of the Carrier.
  5. Click SAVE.


Add Comp Plans

  1. Go to the Main Menu.
  2. Click Comp Plans.
  3. Click ADD COMP PLAN.
  4. Enter a name for the plan.
  5. Select the Type. They type of comp plan represents the type of commission paid on the policy.
  6. Select a Carrier. One or more comp plans can be linked to the plan.
  7. Complete the other fields.
  8. Click SAVE.

Once your carriers and comp plans have been added, enter the names into the policy import template.  Make sure you enter the names exactly how they were added.
