The Fee template is specific to policies that pay a fee. The fee is a dollar amount that is paid as earned or advanced. The fee can vary from year to year and is multiplied by the number of enrolled lives. The fee is entered at the comp plan level and the number of enrolled lives is entered on the template or at the policy level. Typical products include individual or group medical.

Tips
Enter the number of lives for the plan. The number of lives is multiplied times the rate to determine the total commission.
Create a Comp Plan for the policy BEFORE YOU IMPORT and add the name here. The name should be spelled exactly how it is in the application.
Enter the premium for the policy.
Enter the mode for the premium frequency.
Product - enter the name of the product as it appears in the commission statement. This field is used to help match a commission to a policy and can be included in the Analytic reports.
Type - this is the type of insurance sold. An example is Life, Disability, Medicare, Group, Voluntary Benefits, etc... There are pre-defined types already created in the application. You can use them here, or create your own.
Sub-Type - this is subset of types. An example for a Health type is: Individual, short term disability, etc... There are pre-defined sub-types already created in the application. You can use them here, or create your own.
